Vote different?

In case you somehow missed it, a viral meme has just been injected into the race for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Interestingly, the only changed element of the original Apple "1984" Superbowl ad is Hillary's oratory And her shortcomings as a public speaker couldn't be any more evident than they are in this ad:

One month ago I began a conversation with all of you, and so far we haven't stopped talking and that's really good …  and, as part of that, I intend to keep telling you exactly where I stand on all of the issues … blah, blah, blah …

(The coffee-talk rhetoric sounds suspiciously like one of Katie Couric's blog posts.)

Just offhand, I'd say it's going to take more than YouTube—or even a brilliant speechwriter—to fix what this ad has shattered.
